Physical Therapy

Physiotherapy

For patients from Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and surrounding Dorset areas

We do not currently have a physiotherapist at SoCo Therapies. However, Sports Therapy overlaps with physiotherapy in many areas of musculoskeletal care, including injury assessment, hands-on treatment, exercise rehabilitation, and support with returning to activity. Our sports therapists may still be able to help, and we will be honest if your needs are better suited to a physiotherapist or another healthcare professional.

How Sports Therapy may help

Assessment of many muscle, joint, and sports-related concerns
Hands-on treatment where appropriate
Personalised exercise and rehabilitation programmes
Support with returning to everyday activity or sport
Clear advice when physiotherapy or another form of care is more appropriate

Could Sports Therapy help instead?

Sports Therapy and physiotherapy both support many musculoskeletal injuries through assessment, hands-on treatment, exercise, and rehabilitation. The professional training and scope are not identical, so our team will check that Sports Therapy is appropriate for your needs.
