Molly McDermott
Sports Massage Therapist

Molly is a qualified Sports Massage Therapist and Pregnancy Massage Therapist with a strong passion for helping individuals move, recover and perform at their best. She works with a wide range of patients, from athletes and runners to everyday individuals managing both acute and chronic musculoskeletal issues. Her approach is always individualised, using evidence-informed techniques to support rehabilitation, performance, pain management, and overall wellbeing.

With a personal background in gymnastics and endurance running, she brings first-hand understanding of the physical and mental demands of sport. Having completed five ultra-marathons and 22 independent marathon-distance runs, she understands both the resilience required for performance and the importance of recovery. In recent years, she has embraced a slower, more intuitive pace of life - something she actively encourages in her patients - promoting body awareness and sustainable, long-term movement habits.

She is a strong advocate for mental health and overall wellbeing, recognising the close connection between mind and body. While not a talking therapist, she appreciates how stress and life events can manifest physically and takes a holistic, supportive approach within her professional scope of practice.

Committed to continual professional development, she actively engages in ongoing CPD training to remain up to date with current research and best practice. She will also be returning to university this year to further broaden her scope of practice, ensuring she can continue to provide the highest standard of care to her patients.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys studying, hiking, mountain running, rock climbing, strength training, and spending quality time with her partner and their dog, Gary.
